ABSTRACT
The concept of governance tends to develop over time, including in the relationships between actors. Not only focusing on relations between government, private sector and civil society, but expanding to the penta-helix model(Halibas et al., 2017; Widowati et al., 2019), until the last hexa-helix(Z. Zakaria et al., 2019, 2022). The hexa-helix concept is derived from the penta-helix model by including elements related to laws and regulations. This research aims to explain the urgency of publicity in the success of tourism village governance. The type of research used is descriptive with a case study approach. Data comes from observations, in-depth interviews, FGDs, literature studies, and documentation, which are then analyzed using the Data Analysis Process Manual, Bungin (2022). The research results show that in the context of governance of the Sidomulyo tourist village, it was found that there is one component that also plays an important role in the development of the Sidomulyo tourist village, namely the individual component, so the results of this research add one component to the penta-helix.(Z. Zakaria et al., 2019, 2022)which is called a heptagon-helix. The heptagon-helix concept is derived from the penta-helix model by including elements related to the individual.
