Abstract:
Employees in Jember Regency have received additional income where what should
have boosted the performance of these employees has not had the expected impact.
Judging from the Ministry of Home Affairs' 2022 R&D report out of 514
districts/cities throughout Indonesia, the Jember Regency Government is in the
lowest rank, namely 488. Bapenda employees receive additional income in the form
of incentives given for performance in carrying out tax collection as a reward in the
hope of improving performance tax and levy collection implementing agencies, work
enthusiasm of officials or agency employees, regional revenues, and service to the
community. However, judging from Bapenda's performance, the target for local
revenue (PAD) in the last two years has not been achieved. This study uses a
quantitative method by explaining how the influence of TPP (incentives) on the
performance of employees in the Bapenda Jember Regency office. The research
findings illustrate that additional employee income (incentives) has a positive effect
on employee performance.
